Our Programs

Our Education program offers a variety of classes teaching for any level of cyclist, from beginner rider starting out on the road, to seasoned veteran, brushing up on skills for their club rides.

 

Intro to Traffic Safety

A one hour lecture and Q&A with one of our LAB Certified instructors talking you through the basics of bike safety on the road.  This can be offered at your local bike shop or place of work.

Intro to Traffic Safety

One of our League of American Bicyclists Certified instructors will lead an hour-long discussion about bicycle traffic safety.  This talk can be tailored to the needs of the attendees.

 

Traffic Safety 101

get a beginner rider to a solidly confident level riding and commuting on the road.  It's a full 8 hours of classroom work, skill drills in a controlled environment, and road riding with a road test.

Brush up on your knowledge of the Rules of the Road, build on-bike skills confidence, test the skills you already have, discuss how to correctly navigate tricky intersections, learn safety tips and maintenance tricks and much more. League compliant TS 101 combines interactive classroom sessions and on-bike skills/maneuver drills with group rides. Great for experienced cyclists and newbies alike. Everyone has more to learn and participants will walk away with skills and knowledge that will contribute to a safer cycling community. Open to everyone age 16 and older. Taught by qualified League Certified Instructors.Your fee pays for your official League of American Bicyclists Smart Cyling Manual and test materials. Passing the on-bike skills and in-class tests earns you a Smart Cycling Certificate which is the prerequisite to taking the League Certified Instructor Workshop (date TBA).
